Hallo,
did anyone test FWs newer than r23503 on a DIR-615 rev. H? In october and now in november there were several new releases spread out. Did anybody test these with success? Since I once bricked my router and had to reset it to a D-Link FW to start from the beginning I'm not courageous enough to try it again.

I've updated a DIR-615 D2 to firmware 25251 a couple of hours ago, it seems OK so far. All previous firmwares starting with 23598 bricked this particular router.
Considering that rev. H is very similar to D2, I'd try 25251. If you do, please report back here, how did it go ?
*Can you please check the value of your TX power (after you reset to Factory Defaults, of course) ? Is it 71 or 100 mW ? The default on 23320 was 71 mW, now I have 100 mW on 25251.
Thanks !
thx KrypteX,
r25251 works; TX power is 71mW as allways in the past when I updated the FW. But there is no need to run a startup script to get 300Mb/s.

25251 proved to be a mistake for me on DIR-615 D2 ! Everything worked fine until I first rebooted. After reboot (whether it's initiated from webgui or by unplugging and re-plugging the power adapter) I can't connect anymore to 192.168.1.1 and I have no more internet (PPPoE connection, btw). The LEDs are still green, but nothing actually works. It's as if the router is frozen or something.
I reverted to a slightly previous firmware 25143, which seems OK for now. The default TX power in Factory Settings is still 100 mW in 25143, but it works fine after a reboot.
Maybe I'll set 71mW just for the sake of it.
Anyone has any good explanation for setting 100mW in these newer firmwares vs. 71mW in 23320 by the developers ?
No booting problems, everything works fine (up to now).
The only issue I noticed was after having updated FW the router switched from upper to lower channel in 40MHz setting.
