OK then what build are you on now?

If you're still on 21061 then reread my post two above your first one.

Hi there!

First of all, great app, hats off to you sir Smile

I have noticed the following issues:
1. The "clients" tab does not load - circle keeps spinning.
2. The "wireless" tab just shows: "Wireless -" and no further info.

App version 2.1.
Router TPLINK TL-WDR3600 v1
DD-WRT DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/26/15) std - build 26372

I have intermediate linux skills so let me know how I can help you figure this out Smile

I will try looking at the source today to figure out which commands you are using - maybe they are not compatible with atheros chipsets?

Hi there!
Just noticed I didn't get notifications from this forum thread.
First of all, thank you all for your support and contributions. It is great to see that this project is useful.
I can confirm some issues with Atheros chipsets. Can you try with the latest update (version 2.1.1) and let me know if it works?
Best.

Tested with 2.1.1, does not work. Let me know how I can help.

And yeah I have troubles with notifications in this board too, in fact I can't even edit my own profile.

What does it mean if I see java.io.IOException - End of IO Stream Read? Does SSH not work on my router?

Yup - this probably means SSH does not work on your router.
Can you provide your router model and DD-WRT Build rev?
Other people have reported similar error messages, and we finally found out SSH connection issues with some DD-WRT specific Builds (e.g., build 21061 or those bundled with this version of the SSH server: dropbear_2013.56)

I guess you get the the same error when you try to manually SSH into your router from a computer, using the same credentials you provided to the app?

It's a Rosewill RNX-N300RT v1, showing up as TP-Link TL-WR841ND v7 with firmware version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std - build 21061 (only one I saw available for download). I tried turning off all security and still received the same message.

There seems to be a new version 3.0.0 available on f-droid, however when I try to download/install it, I get a popup saying "Not installed". Perhaps the upload got corrupted or something?

Edit: the other two version I see on f-droid (2.1.0 and 2.1.1) download without problems.

SSH reportedly does not work with this DD-WRT build. So (sorry to say that), but unfortunately, there is nothing more I can do on the app side. The app essentially assumes that the router has a working SSH server. I left room in the app to support other communication channels to fetch the data (e.g., via the HTTP(s) admin interface, but that will not be released in the near future.

Maybe you can try to upgrade (or downgrade) to a different build?
I stumbled upon this latest beta build: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2015/03-19-2015-r26490/rosewill-rnx-n300rt/ .
I don't know at all if it will work with your model. So be warned it may brick your router.
