Hi guys, I am on a relatively older build 24160. Which has been pretty stable for my needs. I am interesting in trying the new build which im sure has some ath9k fixes.
Should I even try a webflash upgrade (with settings reset). Or should I tftp?
Status: Working (sort of; see below)
Reset: no
Errors: disconnects from modem; requires reboot (from GUI) to reconnect.
Went back to previous stable build (6/23/14) and all seemed fine, however it started to do the same thing all of a sudden, with the router requiring a full power-off to come back online. This behavior was not happening prior to the installation of this new update.
edit: hasn't disconnected with the 6/23/14 firmware since I hard-rebooted the router, so could have just been an anomaly (probably was, just bad timing.) But it was happening quite consistently with the new one. I may try re-installing the new firmware again and try replicating the behavior just to make sure.

This is historical build such in this build the HTTPS is working at last in my router
I confirm that HTTPS is finally working on TL-WR740N v3.0, as well.
However, is DD-WRT using SSL v3? I need to set minimum SSL to v3 using SSL Version Control, in FireFox, to get things working. Else I get a not-very-helpful "The connection was reset" error...
The switch is still not working properly: traffic does not pass between switch ports, that is. But this workaround still works to fix that:
Status: OK
Reset: Yes
Errors: None show-stopping, so far. Just the SSLv3 and Switch issues referred to above.
Edit: Further observations:
* Asia\Amman timezone! Yay! Hopefully this is set correctly. It should be "GMT+2 normally. DST (GMT+3) from last Friday of March at midnight to last Friday of October at 01:00", in case the info is useful to anyone.
* "cfg80211: Invalid regulatory domain detected:" syslog message at bootup. Changing the regulatory domain or channel does not help. Previous build I'm using (R22118. It's been a while since I updated) does not send this message. Not a big deal, as things are working. Though I'd like to know why this happens, if possible.
* Setting half- or quarter-channel width results in the radio turning off, even though the status page shows it as still on. This would have been awesome, had it worked: I have areas of spotty coverage where I'd like to deploy extra APs...
* Trying to use the QSS button to turn the radio off does not work. Radio seems to turn off for a moment (the led turns off), but then turns back on immediately. Not a big deal: would only have been useful for troubleshooting, anyway.
Status: working
Reset: yes
Errors:http acces not available ?
I flashed this fw , because the previous version gives also troubles accesing the web interface. I did the 30/30/30 factory reset and flashed this version but stil can acces the webinterface after I placed the backuped config back.
This config was working 100% before 25408 .
Somebody who can help me ?

a lot of work for me to reconfigure
If you get back your router to work try following.
- Set router to default over gui
- flash r25408
- restore the r25408 config file
- upgrade over the gui to r25527
- backup your config.
now you can restore to factory defaults and restore your settings (using the new generated files !) _________________ TP-Link WDR4300 v1.2 --> last really stable release: r26622
