When I do an nvram show | grep vlan.*ports on my router (ASUS RT-AC68U)
It returns :

vlan2ports=0 5u
vlan1ports=1 2 3 4 5*

Can someone tell me what the u and the * signify?
I have tried a search with google and in the forums and cant find a reference to 5u anywhere

Thanks - I hope I am asking in the right place.

thanks BasCom, that explains the * I can understand that this is the default route through the switch.

If the u indicates an uplink then does it uplink to - or - uplink from and, to/from what - A bit of a mystery!
