I don't understand why you would touch the MTU. I would just leave that on Auto.

setup:
mtu=Auto

timezone
asia/tokyo

Ddns is set (I don't mess with any of this, I have it disabled)
Yes external ip check
Force Update interval 1

wireless tab
regulatory domain is Bolivia (eventhough i live in the philippines)

Wireless physical
wireless mode =AP
Wireless Network mode=Mixed (I would pick NG-Mixed)
Wireless channel=11-2.462 GHZ (Not sure best channel for you)
Channel width=Wide HT40(20+20Mhz)
Extension channel = lower
Wireless broadcast= Enable
Sensitivity Rang(ACK Timing) = 0
Network Configuration= Bridged

Wireless Security Tab
Physical Interface
Security mode =wpa2 Personal
WPA algorithms =AES
Key Renewal Interval in seconds= 3600

Advanced Settings
Authentication Type=Auto
Basic Rate=Default
Mimo- Transimission Fixed Rate=Auto
Cts Protection Mode= Auto
Frame Burst= Disable
Beacon interval= 100 (I have 100)
Dtim Interval= 1
Fragmentation Treshold= 2346
Rts Threshold= 2347
Max associated clients =128
Ap isolation= disabled
Tx antenna=auto
R antenna=auto
Preamble=Auto
Shortslot override=Auto
Tx Power= 128( I'd try 128, mine is 158)
Bluetooth Coexistence Mode= enabled
Wireless GUI ACCESS= Enabled
Radio time= Disable
Wmm Support= enable
No- acknowledgement= disabled

Administration tab
Maximum Port=4096
TCP = 120
Udp = 120

FireWall
Enable SPI Firewall
Block WAN Requests
check Block Anonymous WAN Requests (ping)
check Filter Multicast
Filter WAN NAT Redirection
check Filter IDENT (Port 113)
check Block WAN SNMP access

Hopefully these settings help. The real question is what other wireless devices do you use in your house? You will never get 270 mbps all the time if you have something that only goes up to 150 mbps (wireless card on laptop for example) or a G device that goes to only 54 mbps.
