I have two TL-WR841N v9's in my house, both with DD WRT installed. The second is intended to extend the Wifi network throughout the house. The second connects to the first via a powerline ethernet network. The network connects into one of the LAN ports. The second router has DHCP disabled while remaining enabled on the first router.

Wireless clients connect to the second router just fine, however, ethernet clients are unable to connect. My PC recognizes that it is connected via ethernet, but it doesn't seem to get an address from the DHCP server. Putting in an acceptable static address allows me to connect to the secondary gateway's web interface, but I cannot see the web interface for the primary gateway nor any other client or the internet.

Does anyone know what might be going on? I have reset all the settings on the secondary router to no avail.
