|
Problem: Android phone constantly times out while connecting to the Internet. Cannot see pages, some will partially load, rarely.
Hardware list
Phone:
Kyocera Rise, supporting wireless b,g,n running Android 4.0.4
Modem:
Motorola SBV5222 Cable Modem
Router:
RT-N13U running DD-WRT build 14896.
Operation mode "Router"
Factory defaults except...
* MAC address cloning
* WPA2 Personal + AES Security
Notes:
Wireless connection works perfectly with two of my laptops. Phone's wireless settings work perfectly with other wireless connections. Somehow this combination of my phone and router is a disaster. Any help would be appreciated.
I have tried changing channels and security algorithms, however, the phone was working perfectly with the router before I got the new modem and ISP, which requires MAC cloning. The cloning is the pretty much the only thing I have changed and I can't imagine it would cause this problem.
Thank you. |
