Posted: Wed Mar 04, 2015 7:52 Post subject: 2.4 GHz not working properly
It seemed to work perfectly on my new Netgear R7000 router. However, I was using 5 GHz 802.11ac all the time. Yesterday I found out that 2.4 GHz 802.11n was only at 0.5 Mbps throughput at a couple of meters compared to 200 Mbps for ac.
I went back to the Netgear stock firmware and I get back to around 60 Mbps for 802.11n.
Is there something wrong with this release and 2.4 GHz radio?
I tried various configuration settings for this.
@renek
You're in the wrong section, R7000 is Broadcom-based, please report in the Broadcom section. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.
