Thank you BrainSlayer & Kong for the hard work and dedication !! Enjoy...

I'm sorry...no...wiki threads are not....this BBS is sooooooo old.....

The only thing we can do is make recommended edits to the OP and have him/her update it.

and....stop squabbling...or I'll clean out the entire thread and lock it....this banter is not relevant to the topic of the thread.

[EDIT] - I cleaned up this thread...lets keep it on topic. Keep posts relevant or I'll clean it up again.

Hi there,

i have a question regarding the release r26081 and after. In Ticket #3963 there was reported about the issue with bricking the TPLink Devices WDR3600 and WDR43xx. The Solution was "fixed, WDR3600 and WDR43xx should upgrade ok in next released build"

But i can't see the fix the the changelogs.

I'm reading it wrong or is the fix not implemented ?

You are right, I remember very well seeing a lot of obscure bricking with WDR3600 and WDR43xx. It seems the issue was with the compilation configs used for these routers, which do not appear in the timeline fixes. We can only see there the actual code to be compiled, but not the compilation settings themselves (please correct me if I'm wrong about this, I'm not an expert).

The bricks were certainly occurring with late 25xxx - early 26xxx builds (25948-26138) and the bug has been corrected, but I don't know when exactly (I can only say the issue seems to be fixed in public build 26339).
Ticket http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/3915 confirms the bricks didn't occur anymore in 26424.

Anyone with proper knowledge of the moment the actual fix was implemented, please chime in...

A workaround for broken IPv6 occurring in builds 26405+ (due to radvd broken in 26398) has been provided by Mile-Lile:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=954931#954931
Quote:
"Add this to Additional DNSMasq Options:
Code:
interface=br0
dhcp-range=::1000,::FFFF,constructor:br0,300
ra-param=*,10,300
enable-ra
quiet-ra
quiet-dhcp
quiet-dhcp6
On ipv6 tab disable radvd, dhcp6c..."

Edit: Seems to be fixed with http://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/26616
