Thank you BrainSlayer & Kong for the hard work and dedication !! Enjoy...

I have asked Kryptex to post a copy of this in each of the three primary forums, where the information is likely going to be seen.

Thanks, KrypteX, I'm one of those looking for a executive changelog. And thanks jheide44 for quoting me, and bring this to my attention.

I think is interesting the work done, but I wonder who you made it? because I think I could use something similar for older builds, as I've had banging my head against brick walls with recent builds. If you tell me you used some semi-automatic way to gather the information from the timeline, I could help myself with older builds, and I can even publish it if that helps others.

Cheers,

This was very much needed. When Kong was solo I was spoiled with his change log. Good to see it with DD-WRT.

Thank-you KrypteX !!

Can we add some where what wireless driver is being used? I noticed with different builds wifi is better than some.

The driver repository changelog is maintained by BrainSlayer on TRAC: http://svn.dd-wrt.com/browser/src/router/driver_changelogs/driver_repository.log

Nothing automatic about it and I don't think there's a reliable way to make this process automatic. It's just old school, hard manual work... I actually followed and read each and every changeset on trac since last year, but I only started documenting the most important changes, as they were implemented by the devs, since December.

Legend added at the end of the changelog, in order to eliminate any confusion or misunderstanding.

No. Hardware accelerated NAT has been tried in DD-WRT last year, but didn't work properly. At the moment DD-WRT still uses software NAT.

A large thank you, your work is very much appreciated!

PS. I've made a ChangeLog RSS Feed, in case anyone else is interested.
PPS. Updated RSS feed to reference original source forum thread instead of this or that (also changed feed URL, sorry).

That's really nice and thank you ! Even though I maintain it free of charge, please specify somewhere a link to the original thread: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=279466

Done (see my comment for details). The title links back to the source, but apparently only when viewed in an RSS reader so I also added a link to the description for those who just view the feed in a browser.
