Hello everyone,

I have a bit of a problem that I haven't been able to solve myself, and Google hasn't been much help so far either, so I'm hoping you can give me a hand.

My home network structure includes a cable modem, provided by my ISP, a router that acts as a gateway and a wired access point. I have a desktop that is wired to the router, and there are several wireless devices that connect to either the router or the access point. To simplify, I've made a basic scheme of my set up, as follows:

The problem is that my wired desktop cannot connect to any wireless devices that are behind the access point, and neither can wireless devices behind the access point connect to the desktop. (Desktop =X= Laptop B)

Wireless devices connected to the router can connect to wireless devices connected to the access point, and vice versa. (Laptop A === Laptop B)

Wireless devices connected to the router can connect to the desktop, and vice versa. (Laptop A === Desktop)

Also, the desktop cannot connect to the access point, but wireless devices connected to the router can, and so can wireless devices connected to the access point. (Desktop =X= AP ; Laptop A === AP ; Laptop B === AP)

All devices can connect to the router, and all of them have access to the Internet.

Router setup:
Quote:

Please tell me if you need any more information, and thank you in advance!

Hi,

Your access point should be connected through WAN port.
DHCP Type: DHCP forwarder
