Just tested the 26587 on Airlink AR670W, new firmware bricked the router again. It has been a very long time this router doesn't have any working new firmware. It seems dd-wrt for ar670 is over.

What is the last working firmware for your AR670W and what exactly happens when you flash newer builds ? How does it brick ? How do you recover it ? _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Frankly, I don't know which is the last working version. It has been several years since the last reported stable version v16214. There were maybe some working builds after 16214 with some small problems. Then things went downhill. First the wifi wasn't working, then new builds just bricked the router. I opened a ticket for this issue long time ago, but, nobody care.
Those "new builds" just have two kinds of symptoms after update: boot up without working wifi or just dead like a brick, you couldn't even ping their ip. Fortunately the emergency recover webpage at 192.168.1.10 is still working, so I can flash back the old version. If the router could boot up after upgrade, like v22118, the wifi looks normal on the router's wireless status page, but no device can connect to the router, and the router's site survey function will not display any APs, although you know there are two dozens signals out there.
