This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build. (eg: 26622_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Router Model: Dlink DIR-868L
Status: Working
Reset: No
Errors: Router detected as Broadcom Northstar, LEDs not working
I upgraded from 26490 to 26587 and then to 26622. No resets. Router seems to be working fine, but the power LED stays amber and the internet LED stays off. On the status pages the router model is listed as Broadcom Northstar.
Back to 26490 and the LEDs are working again and the router is listed as Dlink-DIR868L.

The build is working fine on both my devices. I flashed through web Interface without reset this time. Previous build was 26587.
Just one question: on build 26587 I had kernel 3.18 on my ASUS router, now it's back to 3.10... Why that? It was running fine... _________________ ASUS RT-AC68U (main router)
TP-Link WDR4300 v1 (Client Bridge)
Tried on Belkin F7D3302. Not sure if the IPv6 issue is resolved yet. I've another Asus RT-N16 which perfectly fetches IPv6 from my TWC modem on stock Merlin firmware. Since my Belkin is still not fetching IPv6, I'll skip putting this firmware on my Asus RT-N16 yet. In a nutshell, vlan2 interface is not fetching /128 series IP while br0 receives the IPv6. Same behavior as earlier.
Router: Linksys e900
Firmware: r26622_k3
Status: Working but with a catch
Reset: 30/30/30 before flashing and after
Errors:
Wan port was disabled (?)
Wrong Nvram size in status panel
Pppoe not working
changing firmware to previous one makes the router go to management mode (recovery)

Upgrade to the K2.6 version, reset nvram, then upgrade to K3.x with "Don't Reset" selected and it will install K3.x builds just fine. Also, don't reset nvram or the same thing will happen that you have going on when running K3.x builds.
As for Firmware Recovery Mode, set a static IP and upload the K2.6 build. If it's hanging or not working, 30/30/30 reset and make sure you set a static IP, and then upload the K2.6 build. After you have the K2.6 build back, your MACs and WAN will be fine/working, and you can then do as I said above to upgrade to a K3.x build.
I'm running K3.x builds on my e900 and e1200v2s and have come to that solution. And K3.x builds do run nicely on those units, in my experiences with them. Also upgrading, most times you have to go through all the above mentioned steps too, most times even K3.x -> K3.x builds will put it into recovery mode. In my experiences, you put the K2.6 build on, reset, and then the K3.x with "Don't Reset" -each- update with these routers. _________________ Deployed Routers:
