Please excuse me because I'm very new to DD-WRT. Is the Firmware TP Link TL-WR740N V4.28? I can't find any link to the exact version in the forum. Should I just use the v4x and there are no issues with TP Link TL-WR740N V4.28?

Download Factory file only, disable wireless on your Lap, connect via Lan cable
Once flashed your new ip is 192.168.1.1 set your new login and password, that's all
Webflash bin it's use for future upgrade or downgrades only
