Hi,
so im still having the Re-Connect issues on my WDR3600 with the DualPPPoE. After the daily disconnect i can't reconnect automaticly. Reboot istn working either (anymore?), i have to click on "apply" in the setup tab to make it reconnect again.
Is there a way to try to troubleshoot this issues? I've got some free time now to try to take a deeper look into this, but i have no clue where to start. Syslogd is enabled now, the disconnect should be there soon. Any further tipps please?..
So, i've enabled the logs and this are the only errors i've got there:
Code:

(thats all that has been logged since yesterday - or it has been deleted automaticcly)
There was a recent PPPoE fix for kernels 3.18, 3.19 and 4.0 http://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/26878
but no fix for kernel 3.10, which WDR3600 uses (if I'm not mistaken). So I don't know... do you have a ticket reported on this ? _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Thanks.
No, havent done this yet for i dont have any additional information. I just 'reported' it a few times in the forum with as much information i had...
Where can i find out wich kernel is running on the WDR3600? I can be a "Beta-Beta" Tester if the new firmware would work on my router..
Im using Kernel 3.10.77... Does this mean the kernel cant be updated anymore in this device?
Did you read my post above ? I think I was clear enough. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

It's clear that those PPPoE fixes in 26878 were not applied to K3.10, for whatever reason. I don't know why. I'll check the files...
Edit: Just checked the files and, indeed, the PPPoE fixes were forgotten to be applied to 3.10... but I don't think that they would help for Dual PPPoE anyway.
In the meantime, im trying to do a walkaround:
A reboot isnt working, only a "Apply Settings" in the Setup Page.
What is this Button for exactly? I tried to do a
"nvram commit" and also a "root nvram commit" in cron but it didn't work, so there has to be more i guess? Can i trigger this button manually with cron once a day?
EDIT:
Tried it with a script
Code:
stopservice wan
sleep 3
startservice wan
and i saw that the WAN-IP changed, therefor i am actually connected --> via ssh on the router i could ping external hosts. But no way on a client.
This stop/startservice wan thing doesnt work, but apply settings in Setup tab is working anyway.
Strange...
The routes look the same but there is something wrong with iptables, i think. Especially the nat rules, these WAN-IPs are missing if it is not working! (for example when i use stopservice wan and startservice wan, they are gone, ater "Apply Settings" they are listed like this:
