Have you actually tried it ? Did you read the ticket ? It still doesn't work @HT40 for me.
Are you testing with ath0 in Client mode ? This bug is only present if ath0 is Client connected to a remote AP and ath0.1 is VAP. Wifi clients (e.g. laptop) can't connect with HT40 to the VAP, but only with HT20.
Please verify properly.

Router: TL-WDR3600 v1.5 Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/01/15) std - build 27147 Status: Working with errors. Reset: No, came from factory firmware. Errors: 5 GHz WLAN don't work, but shows as running on the web interface. 2.4 GHz works OK.

Router: TP-Link 1043ND v1.8 Firmware: r27147 Kernel: 3.8.14 Status: first OK, BUT... Reset: No Errors: None First worked, but could not connect via OpenVPN script. Then tried to downgrade r26866 (which worked good before) and... BRICKED!

One thing I've noticed with this build on both of my routers (TL-WDR3600 & DIR-615/E3), is that sometimes the web GUI doesn't respond. I go to http://192.168.1.1 and get a blank page. After loading it over and over again, it finally comes up. With the build before this one, my DIR-615/E3 completely failed to respond when trying to access the web GUI via wireless and wired; I had to reset the router and it then started responding.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

It has something to do with the 2minute timing and translation cache changes made in 27120-27145...

Web upgrade from r25954 failed, and I de-bricked it by tftp-putting buffalo_to_ddwrt_webflash-MULTI.bin of r27147.

Tested functions:
USB Drive/NAS
PPTP Server
OpenVPN Server
OpenVPN Client with multiple profiles saved in JFFS
nsupdate DDNS (install openwrt ipks in jffs)

Issues:

1. Syntax error in pptpd/ip-down.

Workaround: See #3396 comment:11
Fix: #3396 comment:16

2. Samba server is not started on boot, although /tmp/smb.conf is created. See #3871
