I have the impression, that the web management service halts, when I click on the "Apply" button. E.g. I could reproduce the case several times, when I added new DHCP IP reservation on "Services" tab, and pressed the "Apply" button. (There was a case when the opened SSH session terminated at the same time.) Could you guys check, whether everything is correctly implemented around this function?

You may partly disregard my previous comment about SSH session, as ssh service is configured on the same page where the DHCP static reservations, and most probably the sshd is restarted at pressing the "Apply" button

Firmware:27240
Kernel: Linux 3.5.7.33 #4544
Status: OK
Reset: NO
Errors: Filter no longer works after putting in two Access Policy restrictions.

Tried disabling one access policy, tried renaming policy. Tried adding different keywords and URLs too.

Update to latest 27378. Lots of things improved since that build, including QoS. See changelog in my signature.

Did a smooth upgrade on WR740N v4.28 from factory to "03-25-2013-r21061" then to 06-05-2015-r27240.
Followed the steps mentioned in this link by KrypteX.

1. Did 30/30/30
2. Did Webflash on stock firmware with
ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2013/03-25-2013-r21061/tplink_tl-wr740nv4/factory-to-ddwrt.bin

2. changed password

3. Log:
Router Model TP-Link TL-WR740N v4
Firmware Version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std - build 21061
Kernel Version Linux 3.6.11 #211 Mon Mar 25 09:22:42 CET 2013 mips

4. Did 30/30/30
5. changed password

6. Did Webflash with
ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2015/06-05-2015-r27240/tplink_tl-wr740nv4/tl-wr740nv4-webflash.bin

7. Did 30/30/30
8. changed password

9. Log
Firmware Version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/05/15) - build 27240
Kernel VersionLinux 3.10.80-rc1 #3052 Fri Jun 5 03:00:23 CEST 2015 mips

You weren't "changing" the password, you were setting it. 30/30/30 wipes EVERYTHING.

@dmginc: you are right, mean to say "I had to set password every time without that it was not allowing to access other pages"

I'm pretty new here; can someone please tell me why did version change from v24-sp2 to v3.0?
