hello,

I wonder if the Linksys E2500 V3 is compatible dd-wrt K26 build as the V1 and V2?

Yes this has been discussed before in the forums, you can download the v3 bin on basmaf's ftp.

hie
iv got many pb with vlan managing on a linksys e2500 v3
i have flached with many different firware k3x from the 23598 to the latest 24468 and any time iv got the same pb

firstable there is a mistmach between vlan GIU and networking GIU. after initial boot, vlan GUI tells "wan port si assigned to bridge LAN(!!!) and connected to VLAN1"
From networking GUI wan port is assigned to vlan2 and BRO bridge (le lan one) is assigned to VLAN and ETH0

from the command line, its wuite different this is the result of some commands

***** config par defaut
size: 24728 bytes (40808 left)
vlan2ports=4 5
vlan0ports=1 2 3 4 5*
ping_ip=nvram show | grep vlan.*ports
vlan1ports=0 1 2 3 5*

size: 24728 bytes (40808 left)
port5vlans=0 1 16
port3vlans=0
ping_ip=nvram show | grep port.*vlans
port1vlans=0
port4vlans=0
port2vlans=0
port0vlans=1

size: 24729 bytes (40807 left)
ping_ip=nvram show | grep vlan.*hwname
vlan2hwname=et0
vlan1hwname=et0
vlan0hwname=et0

My undestanding is WAN port is assigned to vlan1 (confirmed by VLAN GUI) but not with the NETWORKING GUI.

then if i tried to assigned port 2,3,4 to separate vlan 2,3,4 i am unable to unbridged them from the networking GUI in order to put different DHCPd.

I have configured 3 different DHCPd after trying to unbridged them from GUI but on all port the same dhcp answer (from the main bridge BR0) is received

this is the result of the commands after VLAN GUI mapping and unbriging in NRTWORKING GUI.
size: 25824 bytes (39712 left)
vlan2ports=4 5
vlan0ports=1 2 3 4 5*
ping_ip=nvram show | grep vlan.*ports
vlan1ports=0 1 2 3 5*

size: 25824 bytes (39712 left)
port5vlans=0 1 2 3 4 16
port3vlans=3 18 19 21
ping_ip=nvram show | grep port.*vlans
port1vlans=1 18 19 21
port4vlans=4 18 19 21
port2vlans=2 18 19 21
port0vlans=0 18 19 21

do yo have any solution to make som port of the E2500 unbdriged with their own dhcpd server?

the same configuration worked fine on old wrt54g with firmare like 14xxx

thanks for your return
