Hi Kong!Your build is running great on my r8000.
I am currently trying to increase the (server.max-request-size)
& (setting up the server.upload-dirs) for the lighthttpd web server.
I understand that i can override the original lighthttpd.conf that built inside the lastest build by placing the new conf in /jffs/etc. But I am not sure how to configure the file properly. Can you kindy upload the built-in lighthttpd.conf so i can just change some variables. Thanks again.
You already have it. When you enabled Lighttpd Webserver on the Services --> Webserver webpage and then clicked the Apply Settings button, a config file was built automatically for you and stored under the /tmp directory.
root@NetR8000RT1:~# ls -l /tmp/lighttpd.conf -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2133 Dec 31 1969 /tmp/lighttpd.conf

New build running great! No reset done and everything is purring along!
Thanks again Kong!!!
Same here Kong! I am running 27525M - Rev 3 on my primary R8000 gateway and also on two other R8000 APs. I did have to clear up the NVRAM on my R8000s. In order to "clear" them up I had to "erase nvram" and also do an update from the browser with the .cfg binary. After that, I "erase nvram" again, reboot, and from the browser I did a factory reset. Not sure why but this sequence did finally get the R8000s to a "clean" state. from there I was able to fully configure and all is working now for the past 24 hours - no issues. Next step - re-enable IPv6 and that will be the last thing.

OK - IPv6 over Comcast checks out - Wifi and Wired... Speeds are matched to direct connect on my modem.

Can anyone please confirm if the wireless repeater bridge is working with R8000 Kong's firmware?
I mean, using R8000 as main gateway and connect to multiple wireless repeater bridges using 5Ghz Band.
Thanks,
It works. I have a Buffalo WZR-D1800H Repeater Bridge running DD-WRT build 25974 and connecting to the R8000 Host (Main) router on the Wl0 interface which is using channel 149 lower, lower, mode AC/N-Mixed, channel width VHT(80+80), security WPA2 Personal/AES. So far, no problems.

Magnetron,
Thanks for checking. Planning to re-invest again after ebay'ing it for cheap. Will be glad if it works well.
