DIR-615 rev.H
Same effect as with r27413; leads to a surface with basic data information but no possibility for configuration. Second input of router's ip brings up an error message "server not accessible".

DIR-615 rev.H
Since 30/30/30 didn't work -no access-, the only way I found out to reanimate the device was the "DLink-procedure"
-hold reset for about 8 seconds
-unplug power
-power up holding the reset button
-connect to the router via 192.168.0.1 (the computer must have an ip of the same range) !!!!!during the first couple!!!!! of blinking of the power LED"
-install any factory-webflash (basically it should be a DLink FW, but that doesn't work; don't know why)

@ervau
Can you be more specific, please ?
Did you manage to flash this build ? If not, which is the last that works, etc ? _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

@KrypteX
Yes, I did and for the first moment I could see the new FW-id in the upper right corner, but
- retyping the IP of the router in the explorer leads to a side with some basic information about the router w/o any buttons to configure,
- recalling the router's IP in the explorer again I get the information that the server is not accessible.
Maybe it's important for you: I use Firefox, it normally works with Firefox.
The last working FW is r27396.

Have you tried clearing the Firefox cache (in Options -> Advanced -> Network) and restart it ? _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

No, I didn't.
Since I don't like "to hurt" my working machine, I played that game with my Linux test laptop with Iceweasel (Firefox) in private mode -> cache off;
I unplugged the LAN cable,
I deactivated/ reactivated the LAN-connection to get a new IP
I stopped and restarted Firefox,
I rebooted the computer,
I rebooted the router,
maybe I forgot something I did during this afternoon.
In the moment I don't want to do the same stuff again to reproduce the situation, but if it happens again I will take some screenshots.

My router was running with FW 06-22-2015-r27413 and the router web console was partially loaded on the first attempt of access (whatever the browser used) and when refreshed the web console, it displayed the web page is not available as well as on next attempts in raw.
Closing the browser then retrying, the above situation reproduced at each attempt.
Rebooting the router (several times), same situation.
I was finally able to access to web console without any issue by using the below URL:
http(s)://ROUTER_IP/index.asp (any valid asp page from that web console)
This trick worked on each attempt. This issue was not present with FW 06-20-2015-r27396 if this information would help in troubleshooting and investigating!
My router is now running this latest version of FW and the above issue persists when accessing the router web console using just the IP address otherwise everything works fine for the time being.
I noticed that under tab "Administration/Router Management", the check-box "HTTP" and "HTTPS" for Web Access Protocol can be enabled both of them at the same time!
I have to report that after switching Web Access Protocol to "HTTPS", i was not able to load the router web console at all using any browser except Konqueror.
The below message appears in the web browser:
Secure Connection Failed
The connection to XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX was interrupted while the page was loading.
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
With Konqueror browser, I was able to access by ignoring the authenticity warning message as it offers (not the case with other browser such Firefox or Chrome to name few and probably the security setting should be tight in those browsers by default).
Managed to revert the change and I am now able to access the web console using the previously mentioned trick.
@GWorld
Your procedure sounds pretty interesting and it seems to work.
Maybe it's an easy option to unbrick many routers that are not accessible in the standard way, better than 30/30/30 etc.; it might be a way to downgrade to a "working" FW.
I'll keep it in my mind.

Guys, 27396 seems fine for most of my routers. But after that... all hell breaks loose. Honestly, I don't know what happened, but I think the new methodology of Channel inquiry directly from the Atheros driver itself, implemented in commits 27397-27402 & 27406-27413, are the cause of the critical problems that we are experiencing on Ralink. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.
