I've been running version 19484 (from Buffalo itself) after running many different community built DD-WRT versions on this and an older router.
I remember the troubles I had sometimes to recover from a bad build so I haven't lately tried anything newer.
However, seeing that there is now a DD_WRT 3.0, it would be great to get something newer than 19484, if it is stable on this old router (just a LAN and WLAN router with a wide-band cable modem, no frills).
Since the browser gods of this world decided they cannot allow anybody to connect with https to devices using old certificates, I haven't been able to connect to the GUI with https.
I'd like that to change. I disagree with the gods. I can decide for myself which device to trust (on my own LAN ...).
A search of this forum for 'wzr-hp-g300nh' doesn't turn up much else but pretty old posts.
I'm happy with this router (and I'm on a pension
Any hope?
all musl related builds are more or less unusable.
wifi unstable
freeradius/wpa2 enterprise broken
ipv6 probably cause dns trouble for lollipop clients
So what's your solution ? I've been seeing you say WPA2 Enterprise is broken for a long time now (for you at least). It's not only 27396.
You say WiFi is unstable... which router(s) are you talking about ?
And I think I know what I'm talking about.
But hey... you complain, but don't give any details as to which router, which build, etc. AND you don't provide any viable solution. Do you think it's helpful for users ? _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

ok, thanks for the details. I wonder how helpful that is for the OP. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Builds 24988 and 26622 ? Can it get older than that ?
And if you want the devs to take you seriously, you should post your issues in properly explained tickets. I think you're wasting your time with "hinting" on the forum in telegraphic notes. Just my 2 cents. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

probably you never saw a pre musl build (based on join date).
What are you trying to say ? This is not helpful. Just empty discussion.
Please stop inferring things about me, that you don't know anything about, in sentences like:
"i guess that you don't know what do you talk about!"
"probably you never saw a pre musl build (based on join date)"
i guess you are on the way to become a sash (first response was always "read")
Yeah, maybe At least I solved the OP's problem, 27396 works for him, so get your facts straight before saying that new builds are unusable: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=972080#972080
You've just created confusion, nothing more.
FWIW, I'm a fairly simple config, but I'm running even the latest build on a wzr-600dhp (basically a clone of the ag300h) without issues. I can also vouch for KrypteX - clearly a busy dev-helper!

I am not a pro with dd-wrt but i have been using it for a while. I generally read through the posts for the new build and see what the issues are before downloading. Its a whole lot of hit and miss though. I have had the following for about 2 months so far. I use pptp and openvpn both work just fine for me. i will say that openvpn is far more stable than pptp and it is now my go to VPN solution, its a bit more complicated to set up with certs and such but the encryption is much better and it always goes right through the firewall where i work.
You will have to flash via tftp the webflash just does not seem to work. I very much recommend this build though.
Router Model Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH
Firmware Version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/20/15) std - build 25974
This build can be found at ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2015/01-20-2015-r25974/buffalo_wzr-hp-g301nh/buffalo_to_ddwrt_webflash-MULTI.bin
If you are not familiar with using tftp there is a wiki on it. If using windows i would recomend 2 things 1 putting a switch between the router and the computer you are using to flash via tftp and 2 use pumpkin for tftp and set the timeout to 60 seconds. If you don't flash often these 2 things will save you some headache but otherwise the wiki that dd-wrt has on flashing these units is spot on.
