Hey Guys,

I searched and searched and found people using it. Was It taken off or am i just an idiot?

Thank you!!

Awesome that this is supported, I'm curious if there are any known issues like lack of 5GHz support on some other models? Difficult to tell for a newb since there's no wiki page for this model either!

TIA!

Also, I'm glad @jason12 asked this because I was wondering the same thing Wink If we can find the firmware on the FTP site, with no wiki page or other instructions, assume the flashing process is just "upload and go?"

Or are there general procedures that need to be followed depending on the chipset? Thx again.

The flashing procedure is listed in the Wiki at http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/TP_Link_Archer_C7.

The procedure is as follows:
Quote:

WAP IP: 192.168.0.1
## Upgrade from Archer_C7_V2_131217 to Archer_C7_V2_V3_141110 firmware. ## Archer_C7_V2_131217 gives "Error code: -1" trying to load any DD-WRT firmware without this upgrade.

## 30/30/30 Reset
## 2015-03-05-r26446
## WAP IP: 192.168.1.1
## 30/30/30 Reset
## WAP IP: Assigned desired IP and configure...

Great! My Archer C7 is on its way here... Smile

Is it useful to try the latest firmware? On my TL-WDR4300 I noticed that a newer version (r27456) was not working properly (wireless clients lost their network/internet connection somehow but did not disconnect and/or reconnect) so I reverted to r26653 again.

Cheers,
Roi
