First time posting here so sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this.

I'm looking at getting a new router to use with dd wrt. I'm just looking at something for gaming(Like Guild Wars 2) and HD streaming.

The Netgear WNDR4000 N750 was recommended to me if I use the dd wrt version.

I just wanna know if it actually can handle gaming/streaming without disconnecting, high ping problems, or cutting my download speed in half with dd wrt.

I can get the netgear router for about $80 on amazon right now, but I mean I could spend up to about $150 on a router at this point

Any AC router you recommend?

I have a linksys EA4500 and it's just disconnecting constantly..and isn't compatible with DD WRT.. so I really wanna replace it with anything that can get the job done.
