I did try a reset both using the 30-30-30 method and using the GUI. It resets and asks for a new password but the WDS MAC addresses are still in the GUI. After I apply the settings the 5GHz radio turns off, after setting up the WDS Station.

Errors: Missing in- and outgoing logging
I installed the latest beta on my c7 v2 without problems. Now I want to send my system logs to a remote splunk server to use home monitor. The problem is that I am not getting incoming and outgoing logs and these tables are empty in the router gui. All system and firewall settings are on and still there are empy logs. Do you guys know if I need to try another beta?

I suspect a large part of your mistake is not realising that PPTP is a hopeless protocol prone to slowness and unreliability.

Everything would appear to be working perfectly! I flashed from the latest TPLink firmware to this current build (27506). The only issue I have is with 2 wired LAN connections that are both 100mb (1 Microcell and a Vonage box) that don't have the LAN indicators on. The System LED is also completely off, but the WPS indicator is on all the time. I have a gigabit switch connected to LAN 1 and that LED is working properly.
Seems like there might be a simple fix for this, but I guess we'll see!!

Just a bit over 15 hours later, it would appear that the 5Ghz band has died. I cannot see the network that should be running on it, even if I am standing right in front of the router. I also see no LED flashing at all now like I did after things were configured yesterday. I tried power off / power on and that didn't do anything.
Any suggestions as to what the next step is? Bad hardware maybe? Should I try an older build?

2 archer c7 v2 Uptime 22 days and I use the 5ghz heavily try 30/30/30 and get back to us with the results.
For Archer C7 V2 -> everything seems to be working fine (only needed to first upgrade the TP-Link firmware to be able to do a webflash, known issue)
For Dlink Dir-825 B2 -> everything seems to be working fine (only had to kick the WiFi a time or 2 to get the channel width to go to 40MHz)
For WDR-4300 -> everything seems to be working fine
Will try to get a E4200 flashed later this day, but this failed the first time (was done by customer so no reason to panic right now ) -> got a V2 apparently so if I ever have to much time I will try openWRT

I have a WR1043ND V2 which I have just installed this latest beta on.
After setting up the open vpn with my info on PIA I get the status "connected successfully" but it is not routing through my vpn. I get the following error in the start up log:
W NOTE: unable to redirect default gateway -- Cannot read current default gateway from system
The open vpn ran fine with the exact same set up on a previous build I had so if anyone can help me sort this out that would be great

Errors: None during upgrade, later developed 1 issue, see below
Issue: DHCP static IP assignment stopped working after 5 days of uptime
Local network has about 12 interfaces, of which 4 are wired - 2 PI's and 2 laptops running Win7. All 4 wired interfaces are static DHCP with multiple port forwards specific to each interface. The router sees wired interfaces come and go due relatively frequent power management events. After about 5 days of uptime since fw upgrade, one Pi wouldn't get an IP (from static pool). While troubleshooting Pi issue, rebooted a Win7 laptop and it wouldn't get static IP either. Rebooted the router and everything started working.
Did not have DHCP IP assignment issues with any of the wireless interfaces which come and go all the time, however they are all dynamic.
I see several DHCP issues reported earlier in this thread. Seems like there is a real esoteric issue with static DHCP.
For the heck of it, erased nvram, re-flashed the same fw, restored previously saved settings (so it's identical to the setup where the issue was observed). Will see if the issue returns. Happy to capture diagnostics/logs if/when the issue comes back, pls let me know.
