This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 27506_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

HOWEVER...(and I'm not sure if this is related to this specific build or not) the wired switched part of the router...there may be a problem with the way the router handles wired connections, as a speedtest.net test shows my internet speed has dropped from about 91Mbs to 50Mbs.
So I went ahead and reset everything...modem, E4200 router, computer...still the same speed. Even had the cable company force a reset of my cable modem from their end, vs just turning it on and off again.
Then I put a TPLINK TL-WDR3600 in place of the Linksys E4200...and speed soared back to around 91Mbs.
I'm pulling the E4200 off my network...not because it's not working...its just somehow offering nearly half the throughput of the WDR3600. Not sure why...

No-reset install over good repeater bridge on 27456_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-nv64k.
RB not working... same as previous K2.6 builds..same as previous K2.4 builds on WRT54G
Install [dd-wrt.v24-27506_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-nv64k.bin]

The Repeater Bridge come back to life.
Wireless device connects to VAP and all is good with the K3.x build in RB mode.
Wireless to VAP thru bridge seems stable with good speed... just moving some 100 MB files around.
uptime 38 min
K3.x still sees this as a WNDR4000

I have E4200 and my download speed is limited to 70MB/s with k3, but I can reach 110MB/s with k26.
Router: Netgear R7000
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r27506 (07/09/15) std
Kernel: 3.10.65
Status: Running ... but without repeater bridge
Reset: Factory defaults ... nvram erase
Errors: No repeater bridge. Receives 0 packets from AP. Using WEP encryption (open). Last working version I have found for repeater bridge for the R7000 is 01-20-2015-r25974
It breaks at 01-29-2015-r26081.
Router: EA-6900 with Asus CFE
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r27506 (07/09/15) std
Kernel: Linux 3.10.83 #4384 SMP Wed Jul 8 05:59:05 CEST 2015 armv7l
Status: Boots fine. Seems to work.
Reset: None. Upgraded from 27490.
Errors: Can't make wireless bridge on 5GHz run 1300mbps. Info reports VHT80 and maxes at 600mbps. Never actually seen it run 1300mbps (new dd-wrt user). Uses channels 36+38 but main router (R7000, standard firmware) offers channel 36+40+44+48. Don't know if that is normal, but seems like a discrepancy.
