I've got an Archer C7 v2 running release 27506 (07/09/2015). I've set Wireless Mode on ath1 to WDS AP and in the Ath1-WDS tab I changed one of the entries to LAN and entered a MAC address. Applied, rebooted a few times, but under the Status>Wireless I don't see a section for WDS Nodes. Am I just looking in the wrong place or is there something wrong?

What are you trying to bridge to?

The WDS Client will be a Linksys WRT610n v1 running v24-sp2 (04/07/12). I believe that's the latest supported version of DD-WRT for that model. I know Atheros to Broadcom is not supported, but I want to try. I actually had it halfway working with the Archer C7 stock firmware.

But my assumption is that the Archer should still show the WDS status even if the link is dead and the signal is 0. Am I wrong?

Has anybody got WDS working on the 5ghz between an Archer C7 and anything else? I'll buy another router if I have to, but I 2.4 is pretty congested around me and I need a second AP to cover the house with 5ghz.

No I have not. I kinda gave up and figured I'd try again after a few more releases.

I didn't ask why it's not working. I read the Wiki multiple times and completely understand why my unsupported configuration is not working. I asked why I am not seeing the status of the WDS Server.

So are you saying the the WDS Server node will only be listed in the Status>Wireless page when there is a WDS Client connected to it?
