SSH port 22 keeps open on WAN

Hello,

I have followed the instructions on http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/SSH_access_from_internet to disable SSH access from the WAN port. Rebooted (several times), power cycled, but port 22 keeps open. Even after changing the port number.

Can somebody help me out how to close SSH on the WAN port? Or is this a bug?
