So I had DD-WRT on this device for quite awhile, When UBNT's 5.6.2 Firmware came out I decided to try it out and see how they have progressed.
Well now I'm trying to get DD-WRT back on this device, and it loads fine, but no matter how many times I factory reset it or reload the DD-WRT firmware the unit just will not keep the settings.
As soon as its rebooted/power cycled it come back up asking to setup the username and password.
The main version I have been trying is 12-15-2014-r25648 (latest I can find) flashing via TFTP, which was on the unit before trying the UBNT firmware, but I have tried a few other older ones aswell, none can save the settings.
Ubiquiti has write protected the flash in latest u-boot bootloaders which you get in 5.6.2.
It has been fixed in dd-wrt builds after r27555 so you need to flash one of those later builds.
You can only update via tftp since your old dd-wrt build can not unlock flash. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!

Well hell, so this damn power APN has become useless to me.
DD-wrt hasn't built a Power AP N Build since r25648 on 12-15-2014
Why is the damn flash write protected, trying to keep third parties out? even though that With official firmware I had horribly slow speeds, no 20/40Mhz auto setting, and no multiple SSIDs without hacks.
Yet with DD-WRT I had fast throughput and all of the other things I need, this only makes me not want to but another UBNT AP ever again.
PowerAP N was apperantly quickly discontinued and re-appeared as AirRouter.
You can use r27600 and later of ddwrt AirRouter builds. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
