Wired will be more consistent and usually significantly faster. _________________ SIG:

client bridge/AP will do you a much better job than repeater bridge.
I have two such setups that don't cause any trouble.
Also makes for much easier to update or change things up without losing one.....
and you can also throw a guests network onto the AP if you wanted to.

The Client/AP setup will definitely be full bandwidth. Since it uses a second radio, there is no "repeated" hop to slow things down. The radio setup in repeater mode can only receive or transmit one at a time...so it becomes a two hop setup (one hop to wireless...one hop to host AP)...with client/AP then that AP can transmit/receive together since the radio is wired to the "host"...in this case the client mode unit.
I've done a lot of testing...and the two radio method takes up more of a footprint...but its faster.
