GL-iNet 6416?

I have been experimenting with this little box that does quite a few things well:

GL-iNET 6416

It appears to be similar to several other devices already supported, but comes at a great price from a company that is quite open and encouraging to hardware and firmware hacking. They even provide a u-boot interface to make flashing easy:

It seems to be somewhat close to the TP-Link TL-WR703N, but with more RAM and Flash.

Could anyone with experience compiling their own firmware for similar devices consider giving this little box some love?

I just installed ddwrt (firmware for TL-WR710N) on my gl.inet according to the following description: http://www.gl-inet.com/forums/topic/dd-wrt/#post-4770. So far it's working just fine, only the WAN and LAN port are reversed.

You're in the wrong forum section. The routers you talk about are not Ralink, but Atheros.
