Status: not ok
Reset: no
Errors: no LAN DHCP

Had to revert back to firmware "27435", as it was the last one which didn't have this issue.

Same LAN DHCP issue as before:

http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=285285&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

<SNIP>
*Lan devices plugged directly into router, have issues getting DHCP/communicating out*
**WiFi clients are okay, no issues**

This has been an issue for me ever since firmware 27506, and on-wards; 27506, 27600, 27700, 27716, 27734, 27745, 27775, 27783, 27805, 27858
</SNIP>

That smells like hardware. If I were you, I would flash back to original firmware from the vendor and see if the DHCP issue persists. If it does- something's bent or broken on the box.

Nevermind. It seems your routers ethernet is buggy from the jump. Openwrt says it needs a custom build on theirs.

Guess that router just needs some extra code coddling.

Status: ok
Reset: 30-30-30 after flash
Errors: none

My 5GHz band disappears once in a while. Reboot fixes it until the next time.
Also had trouble connecting some of my devices in WPA2 mode. Need to use WPA2 Mixed to fix this.

This has been present for a long time now. Anyone know if there is a ticket on this bug?

never ever use dynamic 20/40 with ddwrt, use either ht20 only or ht40 only, the driver cant switch bandwidths smoothly it will have long multiple back to back dropouts

Router: TPLINK WR1043ND v1.8
Firmware: 27456 upgrade to 27858
Reset: yes
Errors: yes

It seems the new build brings the router to very high load. The load average statistics shows up to 20 times higher load; the router responds very slow from time to time; hangs and reboots.
Firstly I restored the configuration from file made with r27456; then I restored the router to factory defaults and configure it from scratch - no difference.
I use the router as WDS AP + 1 virtual interface + 2 networks (private and public) + QoS for the public network

Router: Asus RT-N18U
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r27858 std (09/28/15)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.89 #4622 Mon Sep 28 05:49:21 CEST 2015 armv7l
Status: some initial problem
Reset: factory reset
Errors: below

1. wifi worked only with default SSID. After that I set own SSID and saved/applied changes then wifi stopped working. Reboot didn't help. The router was available only via cable. I found a solution in this forum. I had to enable USB Core Support in Services -> USB. After save/apply wifi works again.

2. just a desing issue.. see the attached picture.

I'm having the same problem with three of these routers. The last revision without issues (for me) is 27435.

Same here for me - no DHCP when using DNSMasq for DHCP since >27745 (didn't tried 27858 because of reports from the other testers here)
Netgear 3700v2

First I thought I did something wrong, and reverted back to 27745 but every release after 27745 had problems with DHCP.
Found somewhere that this is a bug with DNSMasq - I switch DHCP away from DNSMasq and the DHCP-clients got thier ip addresses.

WNDR3700 V4 /27858
uptime 5 days, 20:27
This build has been solid No big complaints other than
experienced a slow down on the 5 GHz radio yesterday and changed channel
to 149/upper and not had any noticable problems since.
Both radios Protection Mode = NONE
RTS Threshold is enabled = 2346
Don't know if I should make a change????
This in log about the time -- right before I changed 5GHz channel...
Seen this pop up before in a different lifetime but don't recall exactly what it's crying about ¬

I dont use dnsmasq, and continue to have the same issue after 27435. I think ThoreauHD may be onto something. Would it be possible to have this "extra love" put into the code/versions again? Smile
