I'm new to DD WRT and installed it on my WRT1900ac
I have DNSmasq and local DNS enabled, so DNS should be cached for quicker results during searches. I read that the default number of domains cached is 150, that seems very low to me - How much can I increase it by without worring about space? Where are they saved, because nvram is about half full on a 64kb limit and it doesn't seem like that's a very big place to store something like this.
Also, for my DNS settings, my local DNS is default (0.0.0.0), my first static 1 is 192.168.1.1, static 2 and 3 are google DNS - Is this correct for making it so it checks the local cache first and then the 2 google DNS? |
