Hi all
Am very new to all of this so can you take it easy on me.
I just bought the above router today, but want to install DD-WRT on it and I've looked on the various pages and the latest link for download is v9, what can I do?

I will wait patiently for a release. Been using dd-wrt on my older 841N v8.4 router for over two years and I am very satisfied. Got the new v10 from a shop, that claimed the router is v9...
I've modified the header of the DD-WRT 27506 factory-to-ddwrt build intended for TL-WR841ND v9, so that it will flash on a TL-WR841ND v10 running stock TP-Link firmware.
If the attached build works for you, it can be further updated with any newer-than-27506 webflash build for TL-WR841ND v9.
Thank You, KrypteX. The build works! Everything is OK except the RF Power. I set the country code to BO(like on my old v8.4 router) and it displays 21dBm in the GUI, but the signal is quite low, like 10dBm max or maybe less.
The screenshot is taken on my Laptop about 10 meters and one wall from the router. The signal bar has been full with the stock fw until now.
@sonyscribe
Can you please post a screenshot of the Status -> Router page ?
The CPU QCA9533_v2 used in WR841NDv10 is not fully supported yet (only the v1 version is, which is used in WR841NDv9), but BrainSlayer has just made a commit fix for QCA9533_v2 support in http://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/28076
This means that next official build (anything after 28076) should work correctly on WR841NDv10. As soon as it's released, you can upgrade the webflash file for WR841NDv9 ! Please report back when you do, I'm really curious about the result. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Disclaimer: I haven't tested the attached build myself, so I'm not responsible in any way if you brick your router.
Please only flash this build if you know how to unbrick it.
@nitwitJHS, how exactly did You manage to adjust the RF power of the Wireless? I tried different settings, but the power is quite low as I posted above. The lower dBm setting I apply, the reception gets worse and worse.. Besides that the router works great, been up few days now with no errors like You said.

On your screenshot I can't see the signal of the connected wireless clients. Please post another screenshot to have the signal visible. Also, set Canada or USA instead of BO and set TX Power to 24dBm. Additionally, set NG-Mixed instead of Mixed, and Channel 6+Lower (should give 6+2 on status page).
How much actual TX Power do you see on the wireless status page in this case ? Some screenshots would be useful... _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.
