This works! not only did I install DD-WRT, but also was able to set up a bridge between my primary Beetle Wireless router and the new TP-Link WR841N v10 Router.
The IP configuration was reset a few times during the process, putting it on static saved the day, however!

Hi,
after flashing the wrong Version (it was one for the the 841N V9.X) my Router is bricked.
Please don't ask me why I did it wrong, I know it's stupid^^.
Now when I start it only the power LED is shining and I can access neither on LAN nor on WLAN. After a 30/30/30 Reset the Lock-LED is shining as well but still there is no way accessing it.
Is there any way unbricking it without using serial console? And if not, how do I do it?
Thanks for help and sorry :3
EDIT: As soon as I am in the right subnet and try to ping i get: PING: transmit failed. General failure.

If you power on the router with reset button pressed for 10 seconds, do the power/lock led starts blinking ?

When I turn on the router with the reset bitten pressed, power and WPS led are continously shining, this is the only way making it do more than nothing but I also fear it won't help mich.

download tftp32 or 64 depending on what system u got, then try to flash the right dd-wrt webflash image through it, you should tftp to the factory default router address, the one written on router's back or in manual.
Logically your network parameters should be in the same range, so if the router's factory default ip address is 192.168.0.1 then this wil be your server adderess in tftp and you should put your network parameters ip in this range, ex: 192.168.0.10
Has anyone used r29147 released on 23-Feb? Is it stable?
I installed r29147 about 5 hours ago, so it's still a bit fresh. It seems to be running well enough so far. _________________ Netgear R7000: v3.0-r54248 std (11/29/23)
EdgeRouter-X: EdgeOS v2.0.9-hotfix 7
Been running r29147 for two days now and it's stable to me. Although i'm new to this perticular router the admin interface seems a bit sluggish. I have about 10MB of unused ram when idling. When running a torrent at 100Mbit and around 900 connections, the unused ram seems to come down to 3-4MB. Thats means about 90% usage...
Wan-lan throughput is fine and I can get consistent measurements at 95-97 Mbit.
I'd like to try the previous 'milestone' release. Is that the r28xxx?
I remember running ddwrt on the linksys wrt54 the admin interface was always more responsive to load and the ram/cpu was less than this router. Is it related to this release r29147?

@shaglord The most stable version for TP-LINK TL-WR841N/ND V10, so far, is r28846.
Thanks for the input...
What I find interesting is that when viewing the changelog it says that r29147 adds support for the v11 version which according to openwrt wiki has the same cpu/nic as the v10. Shouldnt then the v10 also be better supported with this version onward? One could think so...
