This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 28139M_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

DD-WRT v3.0-r28139 std (c) 2015 NewMedia-NET GmbH
Release: 11/13/15
D-Link DIR-860L A1
Earlier build: r28112
Reset to Defaults: Yes

Just like build r28112 ( https://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=991342#991342 and https://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=991546#991546 ) this build also have a Power LED that blinks yellow/green and sometimes is only yellow. It should however be constant green after boot, but it isn't!

WiFi and Cable connection to Internet works.

After I load a very old configuration file from long before r28072 the Power LED becomes constant green when the router has rebooted.

Strange!

E2500 v1
DD-WRT v3.0-r28139 mega (11/13/15)
Linux 2.6.24.111 #27398 Fri Nov 13 02:36:17 CET 2015 mips
[dd-wrt.v24-28139_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv60k.bin]
no reset - previous 27858_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv60k.bin

Same problem as 27858 --and I assume last couple K2.6 builds --
VAP will NOT broadcast if security encryption is enabled

download speed
wired 93.80 Mbps
2.4GHz wireless HT40 wide 73.12 Mbps (that's w/laptop Dell wl 1703 card) the android lolipop
or the jellybean won't do but top of 57 with steady 43~47
That's 'bout good as I can do with tomato using the 5Ghz band
installed 25974_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv60k.bin over that without reset
and VAP is back to working so the old build will have to do for now Smile

I love my old routers -- thank you thank you goodbye

Running good on my broadcom units...but on my RT-N16 units the NVRAM usage is incorrectly displayed.

Running the K3.0 big build on this unit.

nvram backup works.
All VAPs are visable.
WPA2 enterprise works.
Seems to be working better than r28072, not sluggish so far.

same box as had the K2.6 erased / reset

Installed

yay... a secured VAP works ok on this build but nvram shows same as others mentioned.
Same in GUI as Redhawk and same in CL

Code:

Mem:         58164      16136      42028          0       1916       5204
-/+ buffers/cache:       9016      49148
Swap:            0          0          0

root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show
/dev/nvram: Out of memory
size: 20 bytes (262124 left)

root@DD-WRT:~# erase nvram
erase[65536]

root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show
/dev/nvram: Out of memory
size: 20 bytes (262124 left)

Best wired speed thru the WAN is 55.81 with this K3.x Sad
