well i got 211 now what is the best way to do it
reset to factory >then web flash > then factory web flash ?
thanks in advance !!
i got 2 routers DIR 615h and other TP-link i ll do a test!
so far im with stable versions everything working and no errors routers are on for months with no errors i wonder if i get the new beta realises, will they work ok, otherwise i will revert to those ones i got fully operational !!
Make sure to do a 30/30/30 reset before and also AFTER you flash it (and wait at least 2 minutes when doing so). Use cable connection and Firefox with cache cleared.

well what's the verdict with Firefox ?? I do have chrome and IE, usually i reset and delete all cookies and downloaded stuff then i do flash i did 30/30/30 and flashed my Atheros device with 27506 as i saw you are running those so far everything is good apart of few times got buggy with applying settings and then after soft restart was unable to operate so i did cable restart and everything is normal..
Haven't done yet the D link but ill do it today.. my general question is if i do it well and everything is normal im ok, but if something is wrong will it be possible to revert to my old firmware using 30/30 method ?
These D-Link DIR-615 are almost impossible to brick. In case of a bad flash, they have the so-called Emergency Room (you can get in there by keeping reset button pushed while plugging in the power and keeping it pushed until the orange power led blinks slowly, periodically). You can access that at 192.168.0.1, where you can flash a D-Link factory firmware.
Regarding your Atheros routers, you can update to 28211, which seems a pretty good build so far (27506 was the previous stable build). Then please post your findings in the Atheros report thread http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=287378

Firefox is known to be better when flashing firmware. Chrome sometimes gives surprises... But it's your choice after all. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.
