Hello DD-WRT friends:
I upgraded the firmware on my Netgear WNDR3400 router to the latest beta (3.0-r29218). I tried both the K2.6 and K3 flavors. Here are the bugs I am experiencing with each.
K2.6:
#1 - Wireless VAP interfaces do not start. They are not visible when I go to Setup>Networking and look at the Bridge Table.
#2 - Ethernet port #1 light is amber when device is connected to it.
K3:
So far from my testing, this is a relatively good build for this router. There are a couple of bugs I have run into with this build.
#1 - 2.4GHZ radio light does not flash when there is activity.
#2 - 5.7GHZ radio light does not flash when there is activity.
Unlike the K2.6 version, ethernet port 1 light is green like it should be!
IF there are any tests you would like me to perform on this router that would further help in solving these bugs, please let me know.
While I try to check in here at the site often, if you don't hear from me, you can email me at Joe(at)hm-cs.com.
I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place, but what firmware file did you use for flashing your WNDR3400v1? When I look at the list (ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2016/03-07-2016-r29218) I don't see that model listed, nor do I see the nearly-identical WNDR4000.
Can you point me in the right direction? Did you use a firmware for another model of router?
