I don't know what the issue is, but I am posting for 1.5yrs and the issue is still not addressed.

With tplink-wr1043nd-v1 the httpd does not start from boot since 23-05-2014.

All versions after (inc current) require, telnet to device, httpd start.

Then the web interface works, until you "apply settings" and then it is necessary to go back to telnet and start again.
