|
** Relocated from General - sorry about the etiquette problem **
I'm trying to set up a WiFi bridge with two BuffaloTech WHR-300HP2D routers. I have the main router configured (using the Wifi to create this question).
My problem is with setting up the second one. I have set the SSID to the same value as the main router, assigned it to a different static IP address on the same network [192.168.11.1 and 192.168.11.2], and set the wireless mode to Repeater/Bridge. I've disabled DHCP, and referred DHCP requests to the main router.
I've checked that the wireless security is the same for both routers, and the password is the same.
However, when I try to 'route' a connection request it fails. Confused Confused
I've tried rebooting both routers and the workstation I'm using to configure the bridge. No luck Sad
Anyone have any ideas?
