This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 28598_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

well after tons of try's somehow i was able to recover to stock and then to 29444 once i decided to give a go to 28579 after nvram erase everything was ok for few hours and then router went to reboot loop, and then again non of the try's to upload any of the FW stock or dd-wrt fails around 50% and router gets to reboot loop... it seems i have to use ttl to usb, as there is a socket for that...
anyone of you experienced with the procedure to recover it will be highly appreciated for me to be able to use my Rlink device as well big thanks in advance .. _________________ Atheros

Upgraded from build 28579
LAN port 4 was working from Saturday afternoon when I flashed this build until just now (Monday noon), when I moved my Ethernet cable to test ports 1 through 3. When I moved it back to port 4 that port no longer worked either. The lights on the router for the LAN ports don't light and my computer reports no network connection on eth0. My Ethernet cable tests good: plugging it in to a different router gives me a connection. I'm using a static IP address. Am on wifi now.
Everything else seems stable and functional. The wifi channel no longer changes to ch. 1 as it frequently did on build 28579. The wifi signal seems stronger with this build too.
Update: LAN port 4 started working again after about 30 minutes, where before it would work as soon as I plugged my cable into it. These are the same symptoms I'm having on the other LAN ports (if they work at all, it takes around 30 minutes before they begin to do so, and they're unreliable: they quit working every so often.)
