Anybody installed this newer Kong Netgear 7500v2 build? Installed on new 7500v.2 - Any solution for missing ath0 5hz signal? Checked - radio's all 'turned-on'... hmm...heard there have been 5hz signal issues with similar unit dd-wrt builds .....if not an easy fix ... Is there a more stable build for this router which allows me stable VPN, 2.4hz and 5hz? Plan to use primary for VPN streaming ....Appreciate any setting and/or stable build/swap recommendations...Thank You

the 5GHz radio issue was on the R7500v1.
both radios are good to go on the R7500v2.
I just completed my configuration with VPN on the 5GHz radio, and non-VPN on the 2.4GHz with build 31240M (see prior caveat) _________________ Inconceivable!

Just wanted to ask if anyone, that is using the R7500v2 in client bridged mode, here if they are experiencing any "rubber banding" or lag in any multiplayer game servers. _________________ For people who are new to the dd-wrt forums >> http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#rtfm

Just to add a data point here: I've been using the Kong build (31570M) for a week now and it's stable. IPv6 works, 5GHz and 2.4GHz radios work, etc. I don't use VPN, so I can't speak to the issues mentioned in prior posts.
Now if we could get UPnP to work reliably, I'd be all set.
My screw up. did not add enough information about my problem with the R7500v2.

For any multiplayer FPS game i play on my computer (which is connected to the clientbridge), there is a small lag spike that comes and goes. This did not happen before when i was using broadcom routers. But now that i have an atheros router running as main AP and a broadcom router running in client bridged mode, i am getting these small lag spikes here and there.
I was just testing out Kongs DD-WRT build(the last 3 actually, currently on 31700M) for the r7500v2.
I unfortunately have the same bug across all 3 builds I have tried. My down speed is roughly 240Mbps if I plug my laptop directly into the modem and that is the speed I pay Comcast for so that is good, but through the router the best speed I can get is about 80Mbps wired or wireless. My upload speed doesn't seem to be affected and latency looks good as it's usually less than 20ms.
I made sure QOS was turned off as I suspected that might be the culprit but I still have the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Or have any ideas on resolving it?

Did you try BS latest build r31722? Make sure to erase nvram.
