Hmm, I completely lost the 5G radio when I upgraded to r31700M. Downgrading to 31240 restored it...

Can I import my previous settings after that, or should I enter everything by hand?

OK thanks. Do you have a clever way to save all the settings from the GUI to facilitate their reentry?

Nope, either save page config to a txt file copy/paste or use snipping tools/screenshot

I recently by a mistake enabled SSH and telnet but have not properly configured them.

Anyway I can get into the router to disable all of that or at the very least do a firmware reset? I can't access the router and only on Microsoft Edge does it show anything 'SSH-2.0-dropbear_2016.74 ý®NzìÞlÊIQùÒÈ÷²Pdiffie-hellman-group14-sha1,diffie-hellman-group1-sha1,kexguess2@matt.ucc.asn.aussh-rsa+aes128-ctr,aes256-ctr,aes128-cbc,aes256-cbc+aes128-ctr,aes256-ctr,aes128-cbc,aes256-cbchmac-sha1,hmac-md5hmac-sha1,hmac-md5nonenone@ËC'

Turn the router off. Press in and hold the reset button while powering on the router. Keep it pressed in for 15 seconds then upload the netgear firmware.

By that do you mean upload the file the router makes me download when I try to access login page?

if So I have a bunch of them. I just finished doing the 30/30/30 reset and did not help. Did not reset anything on the router. Settings are still in-tact thanks for the reply.

No, nothing comes up in any browser but Microsoft Edge.
It's not a login page but instead 'SSH-2.0-dropbear_2016.74 !BSžÓstž›_âþ©Pdiffie-hellman-group14-sha1,diffie-hellman-group1-sha1,kexguess2@matt.ucc.asn.aussh-rsa+aes128-ctr,aes256-ctr,aes128-cbc,aes256-cbc+aes128-ctr,aes256-ctr,aes128-cbc,aes256-cbchmac-sha1,hmac-md5hmac-sha1,hmac-md5nonenone7ÎxÐ'

Router settings do not Reset to defaults. Router login page still same address still no login page.

Then do this using tftpd32, you can download it and download the netgear firmware, unzip it and use that with the tftpd32 program or whichever tftp program you like.

I tried to do it that way just now, the upgrading bar fills 3/4 of the bar but returns error. "Unable to get responses from the server." I did as instructed on netgear site, still returned error.

I used multiple firmware's the only one that was the closest to completing was the Stock Firmware. 3.5/4 of the bar filled up. Although it returned with the same error message.

Have you tried to connect to router with simple telnet connection?
