Just wondering recommendations for best stable kong build for R7000?
Should I go with the current 28600? 28500? or 28000? Or something else.
I have the files for 28600 and 28500, but could not find 28000. Can someone share that build please? It seems kong is taking down his old builds, keeping only the latest.

This is slightly off topic - but you guys can help me.
I am getting R7000-100PES at an acceptable rate. However, when I search the web, I find only R7000 ... with no mention of the "100PES". This is an online ad and the vendor is not contactable (I doubt he would even understand my question, if I could contact him)
Is R7000 the same as R7000-100PES?
If not - is R7000-100PES compatible with dd-wrt?

why do people still think there is a difference between kong builds and official builds. there is no difference. he is commiting all changed to our official source _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Thank-you for DDWRT and Happy New Year, BrainSlayer & Kong!!
Yes Kong Builds are from the Official source, but I believe Kong's builds has some customized GUI menus and maybe some special nvram settings. Plus Kong brought R7000 development to DDWRT, so people have a sense of "better" support from Kong; well that's my feeling at least.
As for the OP question, I'm currently using Kongs 28575M and it's running great. _________________ Home Network on Telus 1Gb PureFibre - 10GbE Copper Backbone

I use 28600 on my R7000 which is working great. So far 5 days since reboot. It would have been longer but I had issues last week which at first I though was DD-WRT but it was my ISP doing stuff after midnight. _________________ Netgear R7000

Yes but the build which is created out of that source is different as Kong is putting different things into his "own" testbuilds our I'm wrong?
BTW:...
Yummee:
Linux DD-WRT 4.4.0 #28 SMP Tue Jan 12 06:15:18 CET 2016 armv7l DD-WRT
Does that mean then the R7000 is getting the new kernel 4.4 with new drivers?

Because I know the Kong firmware will not brick my router unlike sometimes with the other beta firmware because Kong has tested the models he supports.
As there is no longer a changelog, I am just wondering if anyone has an rough idea of what has changed since? Any WLAN improvements? Any security updates/patches coming up?
I am contemplating upgrading but have a lot of customizations so it would not be a small task.
All I can say between 28000 and 28600 wifi throughput has increased and I can finally get proper 100mbps over wifi on my android devices vs before it would top at 60mbps. I tend to read each build thread and decide after people have used it for a few weeks before flashing. 28600 seemed like the next best build and I just flashed it today so will see if this will be my "go to" build.
Other than that everything seems stable, WAP, Cron job, firewall rules all work.

That's what I was thinking. Plus, I thought ddup was only in Kong builds.
