Client bridge fail

I'm try to connect my Netgear WNDR 3700v2 with "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/11/14) std" to my hotel's wifi to create a LAN in my room. I am currently testing in client mode and have successsfully connected the router to the hotel wifi but I am not receiving 'full' internet - some sites sometimes work (Facebook and google search) but others fail reporting "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET" in Chrome. I am completely stuck and would apprecite help resolving this - I feel I am very close to getting this working properly but at the moment the LAN is useless.

client bridge is crap use client or wds.
