I have Linksys Ea6900 with DD-WRT v3.0-r29059 std (02/09/16)

and i am trying to use my usb 3.0 HDD connected to the router but i cant make it work .

as you can see usb is enabled , my drive is connected , file system is ext3 but here at the nas tab i only see mount point /mnt:

and i cant access the drive via my router ip address.

What do i do wrong ? can anyone post step by step tut for this version so i can upload my backups on that drive ??

Thank you in advance

Ok firstly u need to give ur SAMBA sever a name and workgroup if possible.

I have tried this on r28882 and r29059 on the EA6900 and it did not work. I got it working on my WRT1900ACV1 though and when u select share mount it specifies the dev/sda2 for eg not just /mnt...

i have just tested latest stock firmware and it works on stock just fine.

Usb 3.0 is not working ,, i can only get it to work on usb 2.0 ... 3.0 is giving me only option of /mnt at the NAS tab

maybe Firmware Bug ? anyone can confirm that ?

Put sda2 or sda5 in the Subdir field under File Sharing.
