|
Hi there,
I have a Buffalo WHR-HP-G300N.
Firmware is
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/22/14) std
(SVN revision 25697)
I followed this tutorial to build a Virtual Access Point: https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Multiple_WLANs.
My router has a static ip inside my network, attached by a LAN cable (192.168.168.79).
I set the br1 to 192.168.169.1.
When I connect to the normal WLAN Interface (ath0) all is good, I can access internet and all stuff.
When I connect to the VAP I dont get an ip inside the 192.168.11.1 network.
When I set my wireless device to use a static ip (192.168.169.101) I can access my router without problems.
So it's all about the DHCP for br1.
I enabled DNSMasq on the service page and set options to
Code: |
interface=br1
dhcp-option=br1,3,192.168.169.1
dhcp-range=br1,192.168.169.100,192.168.169.150,255.255.255.0,24h
|
(I haven't set any iptables for my router yet, since I'm stuck at connecting my wireless device to my VAP)
When my device tries to connect to the vap I dont get a proper ip address. After some time then I do get an IP but its 169.254.65.245 with 255.255.0.0, and I have no idea where this comes from.
Am I missing something?
Regards,
