that white 4 pin header is serial

and the 10 pin header near the flash chip should be jtag.

so is someone able to get us a jtag copy of the nvram und cfe?

Set computer static IP 192.168.2.2 subnet mask 255.255.255.0

From command console, issue ping -t 192.168.2.1 -w 10

Press the reset button on the router and release quickly..

Watch for ping replies. As soon as you see echo reply (it'll probably have TTL of 100), start the tftp transfer.

use the tftp program from downloads > others > tornado > windows

Flash the original Belkin firmware.

If it works, hard reset the router and you're back in business (at least with stock firmware anyways).

Guys,
I have one of those routers ready for tests. I do have serial connection. And I know how to restore the firmware to factory. I did it a couple of times using TFTP. If you want some additional info let me know. I already submitted some info on this thread "http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25971&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15"

1. Make a hard reset. Turn the router off. Press and hold the reset button. Turn the router on and hold reset button at the same time. Wait a minute.
2. Turn off the router.
3. Connect network cable between your PC and LAN 1 on the router
4. Set the TCP/IP on your PC to 192.168.2.3 with mask 255.255.255.0
5. Then start TFTP and select factory firmware /belkin_mimo_rt_usa_1.01.03.bin/
6. Make number of tries 30 for example and click on upgrade button.
7. Configure the router address to be 192.168.2.1
8. Turn on your router and wait maybe minute or two.

I am attaching the TFTP.exe I am using.
This works for me every time.
