Netgear 3700v3 unable to flash from dd wrt 24 sp1

I have been trying everything to update to the newest supported firmware from dd wrt. It looks like it's working but when it resets nothing has changed. It still says the firmware build is Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) mega

But now that I look at it, the firmware date did not change but it says sp2 instead of the sp1. I did the 30/30/30 reset and tried to flash to original firmware from netgear but it did nothing after saying upgrade successful but was still dd wrt.
