Problem flashing DDWRT on Dir-615 D3

I have this old router and want to use it for extending wifi range
It was with firmware 4.10DE, All attempts to flash DDWRT for D3 firmwares give "incorrect firmware version"
OR, from time to time the upload just stops and I get page saying that connection was reset. Refresh - and I am at old stock-firmware page as if n0thing happened
Downloaded and successfully flashed latest official firmware 4.14
Still can't upload ddwrt :/
I read about changing ID of firmware, but official firmwares don't have such ID at the end! All "official" firmware I got are ending with zeroes...


Any help?
Tried Emergency flash - same result Sad
Its ~ 3040KB long, while DD-WRT fimrwares are more than 3500KB big!

Can anyone help me?

Was able to flash DD-WRT - using an old firmware from october 2010
Then updated to build 22xxx from 2013
