Seems OpenWRT folks are working on supporting it

The LEDE project (branch of OpenWRT) implemented support, installed and using it.
I too would like to have support for this one. I got my hands on a 1043 v5. Its seems that the MODEL NAME lost the "D" at the end. Its called just TL-WR1043N and the ONLY difference between v4 and v5 are that on the v5 the antenas are fixed, not removable.
I opened the v5 to inspect each chip and yes, they are EXACTLY the same as v4 from those photos and exactly the same ones that on WikiDev.

DD-WRT support for this one would be amazing!
why are you posting things that aren't in contact with reality? im sorry but you wrote a lot of nonsense...
Of course, that we all have v4 at home, but interesting is, that official (global) website did not knows v4. Ok, Australian version of TP-Link website knows v4.
For me it is a warning, that there is something wrong with v4. Maybe discontinued (defective) version? I dont know. But why to jump to v5 and rename (N x ND) whole product so quickly?
